Samara & The Rangers of Centaria

Samara is teaching her class of students about the event that destroyed modern civilization. She reminisces about a great war at the peak of humanity and a battle with AI. The rich, however, fled the Earth in all its chaos and built a giant starships to colonize Alpha Centauri. After the war ended and obliterated most of the Earth, what was left of humanity vowed to expunge technology. One hundred fifty years have passed. Alpha Centauri was renamed Centaria, and Earth has received quite a few visits from Centaria over the decades. Some visitors are a group of robotic mercenaries called the Rangers of Centaria...
