SaGia tells the story of a mysterious planet known as Sariju which is filled with mysterious aliens known as Sagians who live there. The planet is taken over by the Drakens, another alien race who kill the Sagian Gods and wants to rule Sariju by grabbing the eight Claw Relics and freeing the powerful dragon Sagian known as Draglun. Now that the Sagians, Claw Relics, and Drakens have moved to Earth, things have changed. Lain's life is changed forever when he meets the Sagian, Haido. Now they must partner up and revive the Gods by grabbing all eight Claw Relic pieces and save both Earth and Sariju. On their journey, they will encounter other Sagians and battle evil creatures known as Drakenoids.
