Phoenix Company

Lucas, a 20 year-old college student finds himself moving to Henderson, West Virginia for cheap accommodation, but this small country town is not all as it seems, and he soon finds himself embroiled with cryptids, monsters, and Greco-Roman space elves. Soon Lucas is bestowed an ancient elemental power set, and taken under the wing of the legendary mercenary group, the Phoenix Company. Will he survive, or get turned into a thin red paste under the heel of ancient horrors? Fair warning, Phoenix Company will inevitably feature a lot of Christian themes and allegories. It's not Veggie Tales, but want to preface this before people begin reading so you know what you're getting in to.
