Love or Duty

The human world slips further into the Shadows, forces which cause humans to forget love and seek decadence. It is the mission of Merpeople to ensure that the melody of love is never forgotten! Bemused by dreams of romance, Namiko, a naive mermaid, flies to Japan to meet her beloved Eiji, of the mysterious pop-duo ExciTe. However, upon arrival, Namiko receives a special gift and is revealed to be the chosen maiden who will seal away the Shadows before they awaken the "Heir" who will lead the world to ruin! Thus, Namiko must ask herself what’s more important: Her love? Or her Duty?
