Escape from the Floating City book II: Closets are for Skeletons

Annihilation has ruined everything. I see her manipulating Pear. I see her manipulating Antony. She has them wrapped around her little finger. The way she's "training" Pear to take control of her soul is vile. When I was sent to the Mines, I wasn't expecting to see her again. She has evaded the Mines for all these years. Now she's here too, and I'm the only one who can see through her. Antony and Pear have decided to come back to this foul city for God knows what reason and Annihilation has pitted them against each other. She is absolutely insidious. This can't end in anything but disaster.
