Athena Brooks is a normal girl living in a normal world and is miserable, longing for a more exciting and magical life. Her wish comes true when cryptids (Creatures of stories and folklore that are said to be real but have no evidence proving their existence) become real and start terrorizing the poor people of Boston. It's up to Athena, along with her friends Vivian, Duncan, Marisa, and Leon, to use their individual skills to catch and release them back to the magical realm they came from.
