Athena Brooks is a normal girl living in a normal world and is miserable, longing for a more exciting and magical life. Her wish comes true when cryptids (Creatures of stories and folklore that are said to be real but have no evidence proving their existence) mysteriously start inhabiting the town of Maple Hollow. After one of these supernatural encounters, Athena finds herself in peril. Will her friends save her in time?
