After three days, the fish spits him out on dry land. Jonah Preaches in Nineveh Jonah finally goes to Nineveh and delivers God’s message. The people of Nineveh repent, turning from their wicked ways. This chapter tells the wondrous story of the birth of Jesus Christ, beginning with the angel Gabriel's visit to Mary in Nazareth, where she learns she has been chosen to bear the Son of God. Despite her fears, Mary accepts God’s will with faith. Meanwhile, Joseph, struggling with doubt, receives guidance in a dream from an angel, assuring him of God's divine plan. The narrative follows Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem, where, despite challenges, the Savior is born in a humble stable. Shepherds in nearby fields are visited by angels announcing the miraculous birth, filling them with awe and sending them to worship the newborn King. From faraway lands, Wise Men are guided by a star, bringing precious gifts to honor the child. When danger arises from King Herod’s jealousy, Joseph is warned in a dream to flee to Egypt, protecting the divine child. After Herod’s death, the family returns to Nazareth, where Jesus will grow and begin His journey to fulfill God’s purpose. Through each scene, the chapter beautifully weaves a message of faith, love, and divine intervention, reminding you of the hope brought into the world through Christ’s birth.
