As a mexican author and superhero fan, I grew tired of the bad attempts at making latino superheroes, mostly because they're always pandery mouthpieces for idiot hack writers. The Aztec Alliance is comprised of positive mexican archetypes mixed in with a bunch of stuff I really like from other places.

The world of Quetzalcoatl is a bit more of a mythological horror/coming-of-age, however.
