You’re absolutely right—white is a neutral color, and I absolutely love it.
I believe the way you use white and black can truly define the appeal of an artwork.

Reading your manga, I can tell you have an incredible sense for using white.

Silly. red and Blue makes purple not black. 😅

tamakimikesaka

tamakimikesaka 9 months ago

You're absolutely right.
But the red and blue crayons I using are so dark that when mixed, they create a color closer to black than purple.
I'll share the solution in the next episode!

The Art of Detailing. A very important and interesting lesson.

Thank you!
I teach this lesson to them quit often.

Use the jar for allowance.

tamakimikesaka

If it was a clear jar, you could easily see how much pocket money you've saved up. I used to keep mine in a candy box. Counting it was a real hassle. lol

Why would you want to be charged with additional fees? lolz

Ford was a great actor. His Indiana Jones series was one of a kind.

tamakimikesaka

Exactly! I really like Part 3.

Agentny003

Agentny003 10 months ago

I loved watching Indiana Jones. it was a great series. Watch out for his rope though.

tamakimikesaka

tamakimikesaka 9 months ago

He really struggled with the rope, didn't he? That scene is one of the highlights of this movie!

Cherish that moment. A gift from a student is valuable.

Yeah, I'm supported by many people.
I always feel that.
Of course, I'm happy to receive your comments too!

We all go through obstacles but we should NEVER stop doing what we love. No matter what.

tamakimikesaka

That's true. I sometimes feel like giving up.
But I'll remember your words and keep pushing forward!!!

Dad loves giving his child a hard time. 😂

You right. I have 2 feelings about Dad: love and finding him troublesome.

Is there any cafe or restaurant nearby with a numorous sign name?

Perhaps use the meals as a reference for other creative ideas.

tamakimikesaka

You have such a positive way of thinking.
I was just really suprised! lol

Note : I forgot to include 2 cells in this episode.
I have now added them, so please read it again.

Wow I didn’t know you can baby powder for this. I didn’t learn that in art class years ago.

tamakimikesaka

tamakimikesaka 10 months ago

It's a very minor piece of knowledge in art.
A lot of artists who specialize in crayons don't know it.
I'm really glad you learned about it.

Agentny003

Honestly this is the first time I heard of Fixative. I didn’t know it makes the colors more smooth and fixes the edges. Very interesting and impressive.

tamakimikesaka

tamakimikesaka 11 months ago

Oh, I see. I'm sure your local art supply store probably has it. It's effective for pencil drawings, colored pencils, and crayon art.

Artists who use paints or ink don't really favor fixatives.

Since your art has more of an ink-like feel, that might be why you weren’t familiar with it.

Thank you! I’ll be sharing more episodes explaining the color wheel in the future. It’s a bit further down the line, but please look forward to it!

tamakimikesaka

tamakimikesaka 11 months ago

Yes, the next episode is actually about explaining the color wheel.

I always struggle with the order in which to teach drawing techniques...

If reading this episode made you think of the color wheel, then I’d say the episode was a success.
Thank you!

I think so too.
Student Otohashi(penguin) lends me all sorts of things.
Thanks to him, I've come to like The Beatles, Simon&Garfunkel and The Carpenters.
What made me the happiest was being introducing to Billy Joel.

Yeah. it’s good to learn what your grandparents and those who are seniors have gone through during the lives.

tamakimikesaka

tamakimikesaka 11 months ago

When I was a child, my grandparents used to tell me many stories. Now, my elderly students do that for me. Sometimes, I forget which one of us is the student. lol

tamakimikesaka

I think so too.
That's why I considered writing essay, but I predicted that making manga would be more fun.
It was right. I'm really enjoying drawing manga everyday.
I'm also happy that I got to meet you.
Thanks for always leaving your comments!

That’s why it’s good to know how to mail packages containing food.

I think a refrigerated delivery service would be the best option. I wouldn’t recommend using a letter pack.

Happens all the time. either the customer or store give you the wrong item. 😆

tamakimikesaka

I haven't encountered that situation very often.
I was really surprised, but I was happy with how the store stuff handled it.
