MYTHBOUND — Episode 17 THE BEAST'S FEAR

Trapped inside the chamber, they discover that the glowing core they attacked was only a lock hiding a second, true core. Rennan risks himself to hold the Beast back while Kael strikes the deeper core with his already-damaged sword. The attack finally stops the Beast—but something impossible happens. MYTHBOUND — Episode 16 THE BEAST AWAKENS

Kael and Rennan finally confront the mysterious Myth Beast hidden beneath Lord Vane’s facility. Their attacks reveal that the creature has been restrained and experimented on for years—and that its wounds were never ordinary wounds. When Kael discovers a glowing core beneath its chest, the two attack together. But instead of killing the Beast, Kael’s strike cracks the core and triggers something far worse. But the documents reveal that Bone-Shatter is sending its goods somewhere, and one name appears again and again: Lord Vane. Before Kael and Rennan can learn more, they are discovered and surrounded by Bone-Shatter members. With Kael’s damaged Hunter sword already close to breaking, Rennan draws his Beast-Iron blade. After surviving the Bone-Shatter Gang, Kael learns that his father's damaged Hunter sword is close to breaking beyond repair. Rennan offers to take Kael to a legendary blacksmith—but only if Kael helps him strike against Bone-Shatter's supply network in Aurelia's lower district. What begins as a simple bargain quickly becomes an unlikely partnership. Kael agrees to help Rennan, and the two prepare to raid Bone-Shatter that very night. Ending: Rennan and Kael leave the tavern together and step into the dark streets of Aurelia.

MYTHBOUND — Episode 12 The First Blade

Kael finds himself surrounded by three Bone-Shatter thugs in the dangerous lower streets of Aurelia. Just as the confrontation is about to turn violent, a mysterious swordsman named Rennan appears. Known as the First Blade, Rennan effortlessly faces all three thugs and demonstrates terrifying swordsmanship—cutting their weapons apart with barely a fraction of a draw. After the thugs retreat, Kael questions Rennan about his strength. But Rennan quickly notices the damaged Hunter’s sword hidden beneath Kael’s cloak. He warns Kael that the old blade is living on borrowed time and could break after one heavy blow. For Kael, losing his father's sword is unthinkable. And Rennan may be the first person who can help him save it.

MYTHBOUND — Episode 11 Whispers in the Slums

Three thugs notice the Hunter’s sword hidden beneath his cloak and surround him, demanding that he hand it over. Kael refuses to surrender the only thing he has left from his father. As the confrontation grows more dangerous, the gang prepares to take the sword by force. But before the fight can begin, a strange sound comes from behind a rusted shipping container. Everyone stops. Someone is there. And then an unfamiliar voice cuts through the silence: “Three grown men... harassing one clueless rookie?” The First Blade has arrived.

After surviving the treacherous ocean, Kael finally arrives in Aurelia, the city the hunters call home. At first, the magnificent harbor leaves him speechless—but beneath the city's beauty, Kael discovers a horrifying industry. Myth Beast horns, scales, claws, teeth, bones, and hides are being bought and sold like ordinary merchandise. When Kael witnesses a massive Beast hide being auctioned and sees even children playing with toys made from Beast bones, he begins to understand that the hatred he witnessed in Brinehaven is far bigger than his village. As Kael leaves the beautiful harbor and enters Aurelia's darker lower streets, he realizes something even more disturbing: The entire world may have been taught to hate the Myth Beasts.

MYTHBOUND — Episode 9 The City of Aurelia

As Kael learns the truth about why the Beasts are hunted, he begins to understand how generations of fear and hatred may have created the violence everyone fears.
