After the merchant ship is destroyed, Kael washes ashore on a mysterious island covered in black sand and falling ash. The last physical proof of his parents—the photograph—has been lost forever. As Kael explores the island, he discovers an ancient fortress surrounded by hundreds of rusted weapons.
