When I was ten, I used to go to a used bookstore to satiate my thirst for comic books. I would spend my allowance on dozens of the bargain 10-cent horror comics (Tales from the Crypt, Chamber of Chills, etc.) instead of springing for the full-priced superhero comics. That was where I found my love for the horror genre.
