I'm experiencing sync issues too. Here's how to reproduce on my side.
Step 1) Open comic on my Galaxy Tab A9 (Android 16, One UI version 8.0, globalcomix 2.2.26)
Step 2) read a few pages, I'd end on page 191 on spawn compendium vol. 1
Step 3) press power button to turn off my tab's screen.
Step 4) open globalcomix on iPhone 14 (iOS 26.1) or on web,...
