Re: Extremely disappointed. Horrible experience. I want to kill myself. They deleted the work i been working on for 3 years
Hey man, don't kill yourself.
I don't wanna be a dick but this is why it's important to keep your material backlogged on a personal storage space. I would highly recommend doing so in the future. I had the same problem recently, apparently they did a sweeping deletion of everything flagged with AI, which I presume is your situation, which is honestly bullshit, I completely understand how many readers strongly prefer comics with no AI, but those readers were never part of the audience for AI comics anyways, it would be like saying it's illegal to DJ and make beats because it's not a full live band, it's not a question of talent or dedication to the craft but it's a matter of the fact that there's a legitimate audience for both things.
Anyways, you carried all of your stories around in your head for years before you drew and uploaded them, you can certainly do it again. Think of it like a reboot, the hosting platform pulled the plug but you still own the Intellectual Property and now you can tell the story again from the very beginning, it might even be fun.
If you're legitimately thinking of killing yourself over this, I would recommend seeking out a crisis hotline. You can call 988 in the USA and Canada.
However, I'm going to be real with you, if GlobalComix deleted your stories it's highly unlikely they will be able to restore the files. It's up to you to tell the story again from the beginning. It might even be fun.

Re: Entire Uploaded Library Deletes Overnight
Hello there!
I appreciate your interaction and feedback very much. Thank you for taking the time to enjoy my work and I hope it helps pass the time, makes you think or feel something, and is aesthetically pleasing. I will be uploading everything in the backlog on NamiComi, I will send you the link once it's uploaded, but in the meantime if you'd like I can send you the files for whatever stories you like independently.
I appreciate your interaction and feedback very much, Thanks again!
Best of luck!

Re: Comics disappeared from profile – cannot access settings
Apparently the site change the rules to include a wholesale ban on all AI generated artwork. Which can be incredibly frustrating considering they literally list an option to upload entirely AI generated images.
Entire Uploaded Library Deletes Overnight
Hello.Â
I run an ongoing storyline within a shared universe depicted from multiple different perspectives in different comic and graphic novel series.
The Series uses AI for art rendering but the story, characters, narrative, panel-flow, dialogue, etc. are entirely scripted and designed by yours truly. It involves a workflow using a creative process of writing the script, designing the characters and locations, forming the dialogue and then spending hours working with an AI art renderer to bring the story to life, often making extensive corrections and redesigns of particular scenes if they don't come out right. It is not a simple, "AI, write a comic book about X topic" as such would eventually become narratively incomprehensible and visually inconsistent. It's essentially using AI as an art production tool, not as a writer or designer. I used the proper "This comic was entirely generated with AI art, not Story" disclaimer which the site itself gave as an option in the publishing interface.Â
I was a bit confused to discover the entire library suddenly vanished overnight.Â
I can see now that GlobalComix updated their terms to include a ban on all comics using AI generated artwork. However it is a hit frustrating that there is still an option to do so when publishing the content, if all AI generated content is banned, then why under "Publish" is there an option to disclaim: "This comic was entirely generated with AI art, not Story." ?
