Okapi Studios is run independently by Mexican-American freelance illustrator Cyrus Martinez Weaver and is currently based in Santa Cruz, California. Cyrus was born in Fresno and moved to Santa Cruz for his education, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Digital Media. Following that, he established his own freelance illustration business for both peers and everyday clients alike.
