Re: Help with inside cover page
@SprightlyPirate975
I'm brand new around here, but I'll take a stab at it.

First off, as far as posting to this site, an "inside cover" doesn't exist.
You can just not have one.

Now for the physical print, that's a tougher nut to crack.
Perhaps author/artist info/bio/ - some stuff about how the comic came to be...
That sort of thing.
An alternate cover, perhaps?
What about the inside back cover? What goes there?
Same principle, I suppose.

Big Plans
Hi, folks, I'm new around here.

I'm doing an anthology style book.
I'd like to treat each story as an independent release and then lump them into special edition releases - yeah, that's my big plan.
and if I'm smart, I'll coincide any SE release with a brand new release so all my fans get something every release.

Now, how do I get fans?

Haw! Kidding
I'm just tryin' to have some fun around here and I do have a plan.

Now, does it sound like a logical way to use the site?
That's my take on the site.

Um... nice to meet you?

Re: What drew you into making/wanting to make comics?
@MComicman
Hello, I'm new to making comics.
It's something I've wanted to do since forever and I've finally gotten started.
I hope to continue making comics and live happily ever after!
Also, I like to be silly!

(I also wanted to try tagging/mentioning/@ing in these forums)
EDIT: hooray, I did it!

Re: What does "ultimate success" mean to you?
Success is most certainly a state of mind.

Would you think me arrogant if I told you I am ultimately successful?

I could tell you of my profound achievements in such a way that you might find boastful - that is if I could resist interjecting all the "buts", "except fors" and "if onlys" I've encountered along the way.

The irony of success is that most folks (myself included) are utterly fascinated with their own failures.

While I'm new to the craft of making comics, I am most certainly not new to the deafening sound of crickets in the wake of my efforts.

Indeed, my ultimate success is my state of mind, my commitment to give-up when I'm dead.
Die tryin' may be my great epitaph after all. So be it.

If I somehow stumble into some other kind of success, I'll let you know (that is, if I'm not too busy being successful to hang around in this dump ! *joking* *joking* just being a wise-guy.
I hope this reply gives you a fuzzy feeling, but I also can't resist being a smart-alec sometimes.

um... yeah.

Re: Who or what inspired you to make comics?
Brand new to the craft, I cannot single out one particular inspiration above all.
I just figured it was high time to put my fascination with illustration/story-telling to the test.
Fear of failing to live up to my own expectations kept me in chains until now.
I dare say, there's no turning back. What could inspire me to STOP making comics?

Time will tell, but I look forward to making more comics right now!

Re: Introduce Your Comic and You! (Old Thread)
Somewhere
In the dark
Strange happenings unfold.

Hello!
I'm SG - https://globalcomix.com/u/virtualsg

There's something unusual going on at my creator page - https://globalcomix.com/a/zillis-media
and it's called
Strange Happenings - https://globalcomix.com/c/strange-happenings/chapters/en/1/1
It's a collection of odd tales and weird short stories.

I heard about GC on Youtube.
I hope to find this forum a fun place to visit for years to come!

Wouldn't that be fine!
