Re: Do you have certain shows or games you go to for advice or inspiration?
Pretty much any solid episode of Batman: The Animated Series. It's got that noirish atmosphere that Bullets Bourbon Adventures aspires to. But I can pull inspiration from many sources. Basically, anything from classic comedy from the 30s/40s to 80s Action shows will afford me something to riff on.

The Adventures of Bullets Bourbon, Private Eye
Our latest issue, Against All Odds, is finally up! This one is a doozy, as Bullets takes on the supremely powerful General Diesel and his posse, the vicious Battery Pack!

If you need to get up to speed on the Bullets Bourbon Saga, well, we've got you covered there, too! You can pick up the entire Season One Omnibus, which includes all issues prior in one convenient bundle.

Check 'em out today, dig? Bullets Bourbon, Private Eye

Re: What does "ultimate success" mean to you?
I suppose "Ultimate Success" suggests that I can earn enough from the comics to make a living, create toys & cartoons of the comics, and generally have "fans" that actually look forward to each subsequent issue.

Re: What drew you into making/wanting to make comics?
I always start by saying my mother taught me how to read at a very early age by reading me comics so it was always in my blood. Made me a "storyteller" as it were.

Eventually, I got the idea for Bullets Bourbon in my teens and since I loved the medium already (It wasn't like I was going to be able to afford camera equipment or had a large group of friends to make "movies" with) I decided to teach myself cartooning. That way anything I could imagine, I could bring to life on paper.

Re: Drop Your Tapas, Comicfury and Globalcomix mirrors here
Yeah, Dick Tracy was definitely a source of inspiration for the visuals. Thanks for checking it out!

Re: Introduce Your Comic and You! (Old Thread)
Hello folks! Johnnie Torch here!

My comic is The Adventures of Bullets Bourbon, Private Eye. It's an old-school action/adventure series about a down-on-his-luck private eye, who takes on the most colorful collection of villains imaginable, to protect Stark City from the forces of evil!

I've got 3 full trades up at the moment. I'll be adding some individual issues as they are released. Check em out!

Re: "Paywall expires"
Ok, because it said "90" and I tried to leave it blank, but it insisted there be a number there. Just a little confusing. But I'll try again. Thanks for the assistance! JT

"Paywall expires"
Is there a way to put my comic on here without the paywall expiring? It's asking me to set something in the "expiration days" box, but I wasn't intending to make the comic entirely free at any point. Is it mandatory that it become "free reading" at some point, or am I missing something? Thanx, JT
