BHP Brings Bold Books to GlobalComix

EricTapper Community • Jul 22, 2021

BHP Comics tells us, ‘Be BOLD!’ Their stories and thrilling artwork deliver on that promise. We are delighted to share some of the UK’s finest comics with our readers, and find ourselves captivated by their catalogue.

While their work spans the gamut in terms of dark and edgy with titles like Maximum Alan, and perhaps preoccupied with the end of the world with many titles focused on post-apocalypse (notably Tomorrow), they also have work for younger folks in titles like Plagued: The Miranda Chronicles.

Their most well known series Killtopia is now being made into a full animated series by Studio Voltaku! Click the link to read the first chapter free!

Our CEO Chris highlighted that “we’re an open platform, and with that we get a wide variety - literally thousands - of comics every year. We do keep an eye out for people doing work that captures the spirit of comics culture while making something that bridges gaps between cultures and styles of reading. BHP does this with energy and precision, and we’re thrilled to have them as partners.”

You can read BHP now, along with 5,000 other comics for $1.99 for your first month.

About BHP:

We’re an independent publishing house based in Glasgow, Scotland. We make graphic novels and art books from established creators like Frank Qyietly’s Drawings+Sketches, alongside cutting edge new talents, like Dave Cook and Craig Pton’s Killtopia and Gary Chudleigh and Tanya Robert’s award-winning Plagued: The Miranda Chronicles.

We also produce comic book events across the country including workshops, talks, exhibitions as well as the critically acclaimed and popular comic book festival – Glasgow Comic Con (est 2011) and ECAF - Edinburgh Comic Art Festival (est 2016).

Sci-Fi. Fantasy. Satire. Comedy. Historical. Factual. Sport. Biographical. We like it all.
