So... the Adult Filter for content doesn't work. Anyone looking into this?

There's a filter in my settings where I can block all content that's 18+, but all the explicit content on the site seems to be labeled at 17+. Hence, the adult filter blocks very little. I've filtered adult content and my home page still shows smut it recommends to me. Does anyone care to fix this? I'm totally willing to subscribe if I don't have to see sexualized comic books constantly recommended on my home page.
