Music in our comics?
I've been reading several web toons that have some of the most outstanding soundtracks in their episodes. There's one i'm reading called BACK FROM BLACK and the soundtrack is epic.
Would anyone want music in their web comics if this platform have us the access to do so?
What style of music would you put on your web comic?
I would upload a new wave or ethereal style of music for HOOD KLOWN.
Yes, I put music soundtracks on my comics on my own website. I run the comics as HTML and I have some other functions too. The music has an on/off toggle button if you don't want it. I choose music that I feel is suitable for the mood and pace of the comic. Fast or cool. Music definetly adds greatly to the user experience. The music runs as streaming MP3 as background music and loops until the comic is closed. It doesn't run synched to anything. I get free to use music from Audionautix.com ( https://audionautix.com ). A broad selection of their inhouse music is good for background and animation movies. YouTube also has a free music library. Might be some strings attached to YouTube - check carefully. Correctly chosen backing music enhances the user experience without a doubt. Thumbs up from me.
Nice, I'll definitely check that website out. I'm a fan of mostly of any song with some type of story-like resonance with I think exists in any genre of music.
