
It's Monday, but don't let that get you down. While it might be the start of a long work week, we've got you covered with plenty of recommended reading. For today's feature, we're turning the spotlight to five graphic novels and anthologies.
It's apparently National Hanging Out Day, so make sure to add these great series to your laundry list of comics to read!
1. The Cabinet, Source Point Press, (cc/ @TravisM)
On a doomed 1901 mission to the arctic Northwest Passage, a "shadow cabinet" of social outcasts opposing America's government find horror and madness that leads them to the assassination of the President of the United States. This graphic novel is written by Christian Sager with arty by Kelly Williams. Historical fiction/horror about politics, assassination & the arctic.

2. By the Time I Get to Dallas, PitDoc Press, (cc/ @pitdocpress)
When 80% of the human race starts migrating to a single point on the globe, failing medical student Rudy Deckart sets out across the disintegrating US to rescue his girlfriend, become a doctor, confront a murderous militia using the migration to start a new world order, and find a cure for the migration impulse that will save, or maybe destroy, humanity.

3. La Voz De Mayo, Top Cow, (cc/ @vincelongo)
LA VOZ DE M.A.Y.O: TATA RAMBO is based on the oral history of Ramon Jaurigue, an orphan and WWII veteran who co-founded the Mexican, American, Yaqui, and Others (M.A.Y.O.) organization, which successfully lobbied the Tucson City Council to improve living and working conditions for members of the Pascua Yaqui tribe, paving the way to their federal recognition.

4. Demon of the Underground, Bob, (cc/ @bob-artist)
Pogo, a big-mouthed young thief from Chicago, falls through a hole in the ground and finds himself in a brutal underground world of warring factions that all want him for different reasons. His only hope for escape is his telekinetic ability—and the help of a stray ferret named Annie.

5. The Dead, Broken Icon Comics, (cc/ @BIC)
When Sam opens his eyes after dying, he expects to see clouds or hellfire. What he’s faced with instead is “The House” — a surreal and often-dangerous afterlife of interconnected rooms.
