Episode 1
Chapter 1: Out of the Shadows
Episode 1 introduces a fractured near-future world transformed by the invention of the Donnigan Power Cell, a breakthrough energy source that reshaped civilization while deepening social unrest and instability.
Living in isolation on the outskirts of Boston, Shane spends his days haunted by the memory of his late wife, Claire, clinging to fragments of a life that no longer exists. But when a heavily armed SWAT team attempts to apprehend him, the encounter reveals there is far more to Shane than anyone understands.
Elsewhere in the city, Mikaela finds herself trapped in the orbit of a violent gangster named Knox. Refusing to submit quietly, she sparks a chain of events that forces her into a desperate escape — one that unexpectedly collides with Shane’s path.
The mysterious General Crawford monitors the situation with growing concern while Shane disappears beyond the city limits.
The episode closes with a glimpse into the past: a shocking public performance by a mysterious figure known only as the Artist — a moment that will ignite a movement capable of changing the world forever.

I enjoyed reading the comic, and you’re a very good writer. Can you tell me when the next comics are coming out?

You’re welcome! I’m really excited for Episode 2 and Episode 3. How long have you been writing stories and comics?

This is my first official comic but I've been writing and refining the story for about 15 years. It took a long time to get several issues illustrated. I wrote a screenplay version of In Vain as well that I'm pursuing alongside the comic release.
