This is not a good comic. The story is shallow and simplistic, the artwork crude. The use of villains from the classic Fleischer cartoons is a poor choice, inviting comparison to far superior works. Ultimately, the only significance of this work is historical, as the first generally published work using the version of Superman which recently entered the public domain.
@QuestingQuietPrince: Hey, The original "writer" of the comic here. While I can't disagree with your criticisms as they are entirely true it's worth noting that we were kids in school when we originally made this comic. The fact it was finished and then put out there for us was huge achievement. So while it definitely dosen't hold up it remains a time capsule of fun times goofing off between classes to me.
I agree that making a comic this long and this amount of detail as children is amazing. I wasn't even drawing at all until I was 18. Impressive work for your age back then.
