We all get a little anxious. J Horsley III spent a year doing daily hand drawn comics on Instagram and now we’ve collected them into themed books. The first one tackles Anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Great way to start a series, right? Get the heavy stuff out of the way first! Don't worry though, we revisit these topics often. How often? Well we circle back (like our corporate talk there? Gotta sound professional) on issues 3, 5, 10, 20, and 21. If you're worried about there being a TEN ISSUE gap without anything related to this, it's sprinkled in to damn hear every issue. How fun, right? ENJOY!
Released March 2024.
We all have that lingering question “Am I an asshole?” Hell, there's an entire sub-reddit on this topic. (Side note, I HIGHLY recommend heading over to that sub-reddit and reading through some of the topics. There's some real gold in there. You could make a book out of some of them. Hmm... Why have I never thought to mine this sub-reddit for You might be an Asshole if... ideas?)
Anyway, this book aims to help you answer that question.

Disquietude (noun) - a state of uneasiness or anxiety.
Who say’s you can’t learn something from these comics? We learned something putting it together! That J Horsley III doesn’t know how to shut up about his feelings. Or how to take them seriously. There are more than one masturbation jokes in this supposed book about his feelings...nothing more than feelings. There is also a really clever Dick joke, a potty joke, something about Batman, and a two page true story about adventures walking through Seattle at 5am!
What are you waiting for? Pick up this book and end your disquietude!

Apparently J Horsley III spent a lot of time using this series as a diary to work through things. Here’s a book full of that kind of stuff. From that ballad of the bad tooth, to cancer, to face melting medication this book as it all! You also get some pretty sweet man ass on one of the pages. How could you pass this one up? Oh, that's right. You can't.

The EIGHTH wonder of the world! Or of this series at least. Is it the greatest issue yet? Probably not since it’s just a bunch of behind the scenes non sense of me explaining my little y2cl-Verse to you all. Wait, no thats not this issue. That’s issue ***fourteen…***with will release March 4, 2026. Only one year off. Dammit, get back on track. We are talking about y2cl-Daily #8 – Behind the Scenes. The concept here is the characters are aware they are in a comic strip, or a TV show, or a “whatever” and this is them behind the scenes talking about the series. Or about me. Or about something outside the comic itself. I’ve been doing this in y2cl since the literally FIRST comic.
You get a neat little look at some of the original y2cl – The Web-Comic characters like Plank Face (originally called The Tiki Guy, but I like Plank Face better), Larry T. Cob, a nice reference to Stick Dylan (See Just Shoot Me, NJ the Fasion Model, y2cl vs Caitlin Day, and Dylan’s Stickaversary for contest), and the ninjas **SMT, and K-Bot.**
All in all, a SOLID issue. With a hella cool cover.
