A brilliant scientist named Zorrick West leads a team on a voyage to achieve multiversal travel. After informing Zorrick that he has committed a crime by inadvertently rupturing the fabric of the space-time continuum and transporting to ancient Egypt, Moreous offers Zorrick a chance at redemption by helping him hunt and destroy a powerful creature named Xenendorf. Only the successful elimination of Xenendorf will result in mercy and a return home for Zorrick, but failure or refusal to help Moreous would cause Moreous to destroy everything Zorrick holds dear. As Zorrick embarks on his exciting and dangerous adventures in the Multiverse, Zorrick begins to discover that Moreous is hiding the truth from him and that Xenendorf is not who Moreous made him out to be.
