Bars, pubs, clubs, taverns, cantinas, saloons; whatever they’re called, they always make for a good story, and great storytelling. The comics in this collection feature a wide variety of genres, themes, and tones, but with one thing in common: they all take place, at least in part, at the pub.

Fairytales From Mars is an anthology collecting the fables, folklore and, of course, fairytales from the colonies dotting the red planet. It is speculative mythology at its finest and we’re challenging creators to imagine the kind of stories that might emerge when humanity finally starts calling Mars its home. Early children’s stories were morality tales designed to warn against the dangers of their environment, impart a moral lesson, or explain the unexplainable. These stories are handed down from generation to generation and life on Mars will be no different.

Aithology is a magazine that features articles, art, and stories created by artificial intelligence (A.I.), but edited by a human being for quality and coherence. The magazine showcases the creative potential of A.I. technology while maintaining a high standard of quality control. The articles cover various topics and are written in an engaging style, while the art and stories are generated by A.I. algorithms, resulting in original and thought-provoking pieces. Aithology offers a unique perspective on the future of creative expression and the role that A.I. may play in it.

Unico Collections’ was special because it was started by UNICO COMICS and the AMATEUR COMICS GUILD and put together an amateur only comic book open to any artist or writer from across the UK who felt they were up to the challenge to make their own comic. This means that the people who want to break out into the comic world will be given a chance to show their talent through this graphic novel and give them that rare first step on to the small press network.

This collects all the work I did working out my comic book cosmos. Explored through very short stories and comic strips, or digi- tal ‘trading cards’, it was a way to develop my ideas through very light, quick projects.
