Today, Earth is ruled by an authoritarian world government known as the United Earth Republic, who imposes their will on every nation that will listen, and especially those that won't. Unhappy with the current state of the world, a young optimistic hero by the name of Sapphire Bolt (Rui Sasaki) and his new (unsolicited) partner in crime, Iris Martinez, try their best to make a change. However, things are about to get a lot more complicated for Rui, Iris, and the rest of the world when an alien spaceship appears over New York City...
