Only five gladiators remained. Yara’s stature shrank to that of a child. A boulder in the midst of mountains.
Arrows and axes bounced off armour. Three men formed an assault against the largest brute; it's their best chance. Screams before the pitter-patter of rolling heads filled the colosseum. A terrible excuse for an ambush.
“What is this joke? What might I make of you, girl?” roars the brute.
Pax smirked . “The goddess amongst men.”
