Leo is struggling to survive in a world that has already been destroyed. One night, he narrowly escapes a deadly creature known as a Bloodhound and is rescued by a group called the Shadow Soldiers. At their base, a mysterious radioactive generator powers the entire facility. However, the generator suddenly explodes. Before dying, Rick reveals that this machine may be the very reason the world was destroyed in the first place. After the explosion, Leo awakens in a mysterious jungle, where an unknown force seems to be watching his every move.
