The story follows Eric Finley on a quest for something invaluable that was taken from him - his mother. Using his exceptional hydrologic abilities, he aims to avenge her by ridding the world of super-powered crime in exchange for answers to her disappearance; however, the city of AuroBourne is overruled by a super-powered, rebellious group of criminals called the ELITES, orchestrated by their ruthless terrakinesis leader, Magnitude, who is hungry for war against the AuroBourne government. They conspire to bring the “golden city” to its knees and seek retribution for the sins of their past.
