Midnight Tiger: Origins introduces Gavin Shaw, a nerdy teenager living in the crime-ridden city of Apollo Bay. He is disillusioned with the established heroes and yearns for a change in his community. Everything changes when Gavin discovers the wounded hero Lionsblood in a dark alley and chooses to help him. This selfless act leads to Gavin gaining superhuman abilities, including strength, speed, enhanced reflexes, durability, and a healing factor. Empowered with these new abilities, Gavin adopts the persona of Midnight Tiger, becoming Apollo Bay's first superhero. He begins using his powers to combat crime, targeting gangs and drug dealers and fighting for those who cannot defend themselves. As Midnight Tiger makes a name for himself, Gavin starts to uncover a more sinister force at play in Apollo Bay, one far beyond the scope of street crime and potentially beyond his capabilities to stop
