“Who were you? Were you a good man, a bad one, or something in between, as most people are?”
After life ends and before the afterlife begins, there is The In-Between: a never ending library that contains the memories of every person who has ever existed, living or dead.
Set within the In-Between and a small town in Maine in the 1970s, SPINES investigates the events leading up to the deaths of a failed musician, a strange woman named Lydia, and a mysterious man armed with a butcher knife.

I’ve decided to also start posting SPINES here! If you would like to read ahead a bit, I’ve also posted this on Webtoon and Tapas. This will soon be releasing simultaneously with those platforms, though. Thank you so much for reading!
I have been literally SO excited about this episode for so long and I tried so hard not to reveal the surprise color change in any promotion artwork but AHHHHH
Also GlobalComix is now caught up with the other platforms! I will stop uploading every day here, haha. Updates are every Thursday.
I’M BACK!! Sorry for the longish hiatus, as I said things have been a little crazy lately. Updates should be back to every Thursday for the time being!
Also, part 2 will be a bit longer than part 1, so expect more than 10 episodes!
I've been literally SO excited for this episode for WEEKS lol
Also, in case you didn't know, I post additional art (most of it SPINES related with occasional fanart of random things I'm currently into) on my insta/tumblr/bluesky! I'm very bad about updating them and finishing standalone art things but I'm hoping to post more often this year :)
Sorry for the late update, I was dealing with some stuff and this week in general has been SO BAD (T_T) Also, I'll be back to more detailed backgrounds etc. soon :)
I'M BACK! With an extra long episode, ha. Even though this is the length of two short episodes, it needed to be all together. I've had quite an interesting five months, and hopefully the next break between parts won't be so long. I injured my shoulder and wasn't able to draw or do much for quite a while so that was great. I did some general housekeeping of some previous episodes by adding covers like I did to the beginning of Part 3 (check out 1.2 and 2.1, I believe) and got rid of my announcement for Part 2 (sorry). Well, I hope you enjoyed and I'm very excited for this part of SPINES!!
Sorry this was a day late!! Also, wow, I can't believe it's been a whole year since I first started publishing SPINES (on other platforms, anyway, <3 you GlobalComix I think it's been about 11 months here), that's actually crazy. Anyway. Hopefully I'll actually publish on time next week :P
