This is my first manga series, a project I’ve been writing and developing for years, and I’m finally ready to share it with readers. Inspired by the spirit of shonen, this story blends action, rivalry, and growth with a world shaped by ancient yokai folklore. In this world, yokai aren’t just monsters — they are living echoes of myth, each with their own power, danger, and mystery. To protect humanity, academies were founded where students train, live, and fight side by side. But survival isn’t guaranteed, and every mission carries the risk of sacrifice. Our protagonist begins at the bottom, rejected from the academy and told he lacks the strength to join. But when a sudden yokai attack forces him into battle, his reckless determination catches the attention of powerful figures. Even without experience, his will to stand against the impossible hints at hidden potential. The story explores themes of growth through hardship, rivalries that reflect both light and shadow, and the fragile bonds between humans and yokai. The academy becomes a stage for friendships, losses, and the reality that not every fighter returns from battle. Every encounter pushes the question: can these two worlds ever coexist, or will one consume the other? This is a shonen manga at its core — full of intense battles, personal struggles, and the pursuit of becoming stronger.
