Minseo hates everything about soulmates. She hates the circus of finding a soulmate. To her, it's all nonsense, a childish obsession with seeing the world brighter than it was before. But everyone around her seems content to wander endlessly in search of the lips that make the world brighter. Even Minseo's mother is so obsessed with finding her soulmate that she's willing to abandon her daughter if necessary. And that's exactly what needs to be done. The poor child is being cared for by her sister and nieces. Maybe Minseo is happy with this outcome. Because she's surrounded by people she loves. Because they've shown her the "colors" everyone talks about.
