In ancient times, Eylifr, a descendant of Jormungandr, forged a pact with the World Tree, Yggdrasil, becoming its Guardian.
One day, Yggdrasil calls upon its protector for help: an unknown poison is seeping through its branches and roots, warping the worlds held upon them.
Fulfilling his duty, Eylifr sets out on a journey across realms to cleanse them of the corruption and uncover the source of the poison.
