Ted's sister fell in with the wrong element and was battling addiction, a battle she was losing. Ted found himself in the small, quaint town of Hope Falls Vermont, nestled in the northern end of the Appalachian Mountains
Ted began a new life as the town's sheriff so he could be closer to his sister and look after her. All was quiet and peaceful until the day when the sun set one last time over the town...that's when Ted's nightmare only began.
