Four "Bitter Souls" in New orleans are erased from their lives of sexual servitude, dirty cops, drug addicted gang banging, conning and gambling by a mysterious Pastor named Secord. They are given powers directly related to their worst character flaws and presented with a turth that is hard to comprehend. Drawn completely by BAATMAN legendary artist, Norm Breyfogle with pin-ups by the like of Phil hester, Mike Oeming, Jimmy Palmiotti and more, this omnibus contains all covers, sketches and concepts by breyfogle and all of Chuck satterleee's scripts. There is an introduction by Batman writer Alan Grant and a short story by GOTHAM BY GASLIGHT creator, Brian Augustyn. Cover by Tim Seeley.

Of Bitter Souls follows a quartet of unlikely heroes who are given abilities by a mysterious pastor, which they use, as the campaign describes it, “to deal with the ghosts and spirits that are so prevalent in their home town of New Orleans, Louisiana.” Satterlee, who created Of Bitter Souls and is running the Kickstarter campaign, describes the new omnibus of the series as including not just all nine issues of the series, but additional sketch material from Breyfogle.
