The story takes place in Islaanesia, a fictional country created by Mr. Yaaf. All country names are parodied with aliases to protect the author, giving him freedom to include polite and elegant criticism.
Mr. Yaaf avoids naming countries directly to prevent legal trouble, especially in places that oppose criticism and might criminalize novels, comics, or animations.
