Comicbook Icon Steve Skeates is honored in this collection of Skeates-written Depthon stories put together by Mark F Davis and the folks at Golden Era! Award-winning Steve Skeates (three-time Shazam Award winner, Warren Award winner, and Bill Finger Award winner) is best known as the co-creator of Plop! (with Sergio Aragones and Joe Orlando) and Hawk and Dove (with Steve Ditko), and writer for DC, Warren, Charlton, Archie, Atlas/Seaboard, Gold Key, and many others in 2023, but not before he'd completed three Depthon tales for Mark Davis and Golden Era. One of Skeates' most celebrated runs was on DC's Aquaman (with Jim Aparo), so it's fitting that he ended his amazing career by diving back into writing an aquatic superhero.
