By night, he works a job he loathes — tracking down and punishing those who deserve it. It’s not justice. It’s not heroism. It’s just what he does, and he’s disturbingly good at it. Once, Mr. Crimes was different. He was hopeful, in love, maybe even happy. But everything changed when she disappeared without a trace. Now, all that’s left is the empty bottle, the smoke in his lungs, and a never-ending parade of criminals to hurt. This is not a story about redemption. This is about a man surviving the dark — even if he’s already part of it.
