Ya-Ya Hamilton, a US Marine veteran struggles as a civilian, working as a shoe shiner at his local train station. He is hunted by mysterious men wearing gas masks seemingly at random. The trauma of the event becomes the lynchpin to a curious case that Forrest Shields inherits and reveals a powder keg that Forrest has to diffuse.
