Generational power and responsibility from a Rapa Nui family passes onto the youngest descendant of the family who live in Maui Hawaii. He is visited by his ancestor who imbues him with the power and gives him wooden tablets that have the instructions on what he can do and what his responsibilities are now that he has the power. The only problem is the instructions are written in Rongorongo the Rapa Nui written language that is currently undecipherable and as it was the only written language developed in polynesia has no common written language to try and decipher it. He shows off his new powers and tries to figure out what happens with his best friend who is interested in language. At that same friends church during an easter cook out everyone gets attacked by evil local spirits led by an evil spirit from Rapa Nui which followed the energy back to the boy. The boy uses his new powers to fight back the spirits, never finding out what they wanted from him, becoming the Hero Easter Bunny in the process.
