In 2016, Globe-X, a global military company, terrorises the Earth with the goal of world domination. The Strike Force Heroes, a global special mission force, was formed to combat Globe-X. The Fooks family formed a Task Force for global security and emergency, Team Fooks and managed to bring down Globe-X, thus beginning a war against them. In 2030, Earth faces more threats from other alien races throughout the universe. Team Fooks and SFH unite to defend Earth and Time against them and Globe-X.

Battle Ball is an underground, tag-team sport (and the namesake of the story) that involves striking out the other opponent(s) in an intense high-speed volley! Carlos is an unordinary, yet unruly highschooler with no greater aspirations in his day to day routine. He gets by with only the minimum that is asked of him. However, at night he sneaks out of his apartment and becomes someone else entirely. Skeetr and his robotic partner Bolt are the rookie sensation of the underground sport known as Battle Ball. Together they must learn the ins and outs of the sport while also keeping their Battle Ball personas separate from their day to day lives!

When their favourite arcade machine is stolen—its circuit board worth hundreds of thousands on the retro black market—three mates from El Reset arcade take to the streets in beat ’em up style, dishing out combos against urban gangs and a horde of alien cryptobros to get the machine back and save their neighbourhood.
