The Year 2086. Earth is no longer ruled by humans.
More than a hundred alien species walk the planet, though no one can agree why they came. Some arrived as conquerors. Others as slavers. Many as scientists. Humanity was raided, studied, rewritten—its cities shattered and its history erased in pieces. The few humans who remain live among the wreckage, adapting to a world that no longer belongs to them.
Over time, something changed.
Human DNA responded.
From generations of experimentation, trauma, and survival, a new phenomenon emerged—mela powers, abilities born from altered bloodlines and sharpened by struggle. With no governments left to protect them, people banded together. Gangs became families. Families became armies.
At first, gangs formed to fight alien oppression.
Then territory mattered.
Then money.
Then power.
To control the chaos, a brutal hierarchy was created: the HIT Rank System. Gangs are ranked by strength, influence, and kills. The top ten control the largest territories and decide who eats, who rules, and who disappears. Everyone else fights, bleeds, and dies trying to climb the list.
In the middle of it all are Aki and Shiki—two kids growing up too fast in a world that doesn’t care if they survive. They aren’t legends. Not yet. Just smart, angry, and determined enough to keep moving forward while everything around them collapses.
But in a world built on rankings, bloodlines, and buried secrets, survival is never enough.
Because as the aliens continue to watch…
as gangs sharpen their blades…
and as ancient experiments begin to surface again…
The system is about to be challenged.
And kids like Aki and Shiki aren’t supposed to change the world.
They’re supposed to die in it.
