Everything you know about King Arthur, Camelot, and the legendary sword Excalibur is a lie. Arthur is a Dark Lord, Camelot is his hellscape, and Excalibur is a seventeen-year-old girl named Liz living in New York City, who has no idea who and what she really is. But when the darkness from which she was born comes looking for her-- Liz will need the help of her best friend Calvin and her father, the fabled wizard Merlin, to find a way to save Camelot and its few survivors from annihilation, and also free Arthur from the darkness that has consumed him.
