“Broken Deal”
Short Synopsis
In the rain-soaked backlots of Sun State, Darius steps into a high-stakes deal surrounded by unfamiliar players and quiet tension. The environment makes one thing clear—this isn’t his territory, and he’s being tested the moment he arrives.
What starts as a routine exchange quickly reveals itself to be a setup. Gunfire erupts, and Darius is forced into a fast, tactical fight for survival, moving with precision through chaos as he realizes the deal was never meant to go through clean.
In the middle of the ambush, Darius makes a split-second decision to save an older man—Ray Ray—who seems far too calm for the situation. As the fight ends and the rain settles over the aftermath, something begins to feel off. The air shifts. The temperature changes. Reality itself feels slightly out of place.
Ray Ray recognizes it immediately.
Darius doesn’t understand it yet—but something has started.
Because this wasn’t just a broken deal.
It was an opening.
Issue 2
Freeza Volume 1 issue 2
In the aftermath of the failed deal, Darius pulls Ray Ray away from the chaos—but something is wrong. As they move through the empty, rain-soaked streets, the temperature begins to drop unnaturally. Frost forms where it shouldn’t. Breath becomes visible. The world around Darius starts reacting to him.
At first, he denies it.
But Ray Ray doesn’t.
Speaking with unsettling certainty, Ray Ray pushes Darius to face the truth—that whatever happened didn’t start tonight. It’s been building. The gunshot, the moment, the chaos—it didn’t create anything. It revealed it.
As the cold intensifies, Darius begins to see it for himself. The frost spreading from his hands. The air bending to his presence. The realization hits:
It’s coming from him.
What starts as confusion quickly turns into suspicion. Darius questions Ray Ray’s knowledge, wondering how much he knew and whether any of this was planned. Ray Ray doesn’t give clear answers—only deeper ones, hinting that others have been watching Darius long before this moment.
Left alone in the rain, with cold spreading uncontrollably around him, Darius is forced to confront a reality he can’t ignore anymore.
Because this isn’t where it started.
This is just the moment he finally noticed.

“THE MARK”
Short Synopsis
Darius’ power spirals out of control in the middle of a rain-soaked street, ice spreading violently with every breath and step. What started as subtle changes is now undeniable—he’s becoming something dangerous.
While Darius fights to stay grounded, Ray Ray calmly retrieves a hidden artifact: a cold, ancient-tech suit that seems prepared specifically for this moment. As the environment begins freezing uncontrollably, Ray Ray gives him a simple warning—either put it on, or lose everything to the cold.
Forced into the decision, Darius takes the risk.
The moment the suit bonds with him, everything changes.
The chaos stops.
The ice obeys.
For the first time, Darius isn’t reacting—he’s controlling.
But the truth beneath that control is unsettling.
The power isn’t his.
The suit didn’t choose randomly.
It recognized him.
As Darius stands in the rain, surrounded by perfectly controlled frost, a new identity begins to take shape—not just a man with power, but something marked by it.
The myth of Freeza begins.

FREEZA — Issue #4: “First Freeze”
Short Synopsis
Freeza begins learning what control really feels like.
Now fully stabilized inside his cold-based suit, Darius walks through Sun State no longer fighting his power—but wearing it. The frost responds to him cleanly, the chaos is quieter, and for the first time, he feels like he might actually be in control.
But power changes how the world sees you.
People stare. Fear spreads. Small confrontations turn dangerous fast, and Freeza realizes normal life is already gone. Even a simple walk through the city becomes a warning to everyone around him.
Trying to hold onto something familiar, he calls Tee and Laron—reaching back to the people who knew him before all of this. The conversation is short, honest, and heavy. They know something is wrong, even if they don’t fully understand it yet.
Meanwhile, the suit itself feels alive—ancient, responsive, and tied to something bigger than Darius.
By the end of the issue, that truth arrives in person.
Three silent Hiti enforcers step out of the shadows.
They’ve been watching.
They have questions.
And Freeza is no longer just a man with powers—
he’s becoming part of something much older.
