A young woman has the gift to give human form and a touch of humanity to animals and objects she touches. One day, while distracted, she accidentally turns an apple into a human. As she cares for this apple-turned-human, they get into trouble with the police and must flee. An underground association helps them escape, offering to extend the apple's two-week lifespan if she agrees to work for them.
