The story is told through the point of view of Centurion Alvin Lacey, a golem pilot who pissed off the wrong superior officer and got his fulcrum sent to the back of beyond - the Blue Fen - to assist the 85th Magnolia on their operation to root out a base deep in the jungle. The story is an homage to the camaraderie born in the horrors of combat and the arbitrary nature of how men and women find themselves swept up in War. Planned release in Q4 2023.

Li Palmer was an Eros ICS client, enthusiasm undimmed by ICS newly conferred illegality and safety concerns. The pain and regret of his ebbing life prompted his desire to use ICS to jack another, younger, life. On her first job at Eros Evangelina finds herself on a collision course with Palmer’s desires and it will take all her wits and good fortune to avoid her becoming a casualty in the quiet war waged by wealth against death.
