A sudden, thunderous explosion tore through the land—then another, and another. Cities crumbled into silence. Smoke swallowed the sky. In a matter of moments, everything was gone. No voices, no movement… nothing. From the ruins, a young boy named Sebastian emerged. He didn’t understand why he was alive. His ears rang as he stumbled through shattered streets, his feet dragging through dust and debris. The world he knew had vanished. No people. No sound. Just emptiness. Somehow, his body carried him back home. The door creaked open. Inside, everything was still—too still. Sebastian took a step forward… then froze. Something was there. A figure, twisted and unnatural, stood in the shadows. Its body was smeared with blood, its shape barely human. It didn’t move… but it felt alive. Watching him. Sebastian’s breath caught in his throat. His vision blurred. His legs gave out beneath him— —and he collapsed onto the floor. Darkness took him.
